This clearly was not Ruth's 8NL pitching card. I use that card frequently, and his lowest batting average in the last three leagues I've had him was .256. My guess is that you got the card of some barmaid named Ruth.

In 1925 between seasons where he hit .373 and .378 Babe Ruth in august of that year was hitting .265 after 280 at bats. On June 8th of that year his batting average was .172. But of course that was the actual player hitting that in the prime of his career with a lifetime average of .342 of course Ruth could never ever do that, not a card that has a 50/50 chance of being used.

What's his on base and slugging pct? High walk cards are notorious for low batting averages when facing the best pitchers.
