no clue at 200 mil ...

PostFri Jun 26, 2015 2:07 am

I've never played in a $200 mil league and curious for advice on what I did wrong in the draft, so I can put it to good use next time ... I'll find out soon enough, I know, but just wondering about my worst mistakes. My guess is a weak bullpen and a lineup with pieces that don't fit together very well ... I have two great 1890s-type leadoff guys in Barnes and Jennings, two obp/power guys who are best suited to hit #2 because they're either homers or walks (Ott and Clark), a so-so slugger in Dimaggio, and three mediocre BA sluggers in Schmidt, McCovey, and Wilson. (I still have lower-cost versions of some of the cards.) Kind of a mess ...

Your biggest issue is not knowing the value of the players you have drafted- and by your descriptions, how to use them.
Many of them are quite good; once you upgrade to the right version of course.

You could use another decent SP and maybe Yogi at C isn't wonderful, but still quite usable.

You also need to pick the right ballpark for them to thrive in.
