It doesn't seem like they are doing this anymore anyway. So other than teams added we haven't been able to do a regular add in a half year.

Just a thought - in particular for franchise leagues, but for ATG leagues in general, would it not be fairly simple to use the cards from recent seasons as additions? At least you could fill in some of the players from 07-14 that di dnot make the ATG cut.

I'd prefer to leave ATG as what is supposed to be, a historical set. There is plenty of opportunity to play recent cards in the 20XX sets. I would prefer there be a waiting period similar to HOF voting for inclusion in ATG. 5-10 years at least.

The ATG'd I don't disagree. However with franchise leagues I like the inclusion of the newer players.

as I mentioned for ATG's, I'd like about 5 or so contiguous years of their "prime" to better represent them, which would preclude or weaken the stats for modern (2010+) players.

after all, is that not the reason for a "wait" to see if a player is really in ATG? To show they have continuity and multiple good seasons, not just a flash in the pan?

I am surprised nobody has come up with Justin Verlander 2011 anyone who has played in a theme league no's the Tigers need pitching and Verlander fits the bill.
