Yeah fair enough I just only play ATG and would love to see how he does against the best of the best on here. Patience! I'm sure there are players out there people have been waiting 20 years to check out. I just need to find a similar stat player and see how his card works out is all. Tough being a Nats fan we have 0 players to pick from in ATG.

Totally agree

Tough being a Nats fan we have 0 players to pick from in ATG.

But that is not strictly true. The Nationals franchise goes back to before they were in Washington. Just because the team moved does not erase it's history. The Giants are in SF now but guarantee SF fans still consider what Mays did in NY to be part of their history? You think they do not consider Mel Ott to be fair game. Think Dodgers are not going to claim Gil Hodges, etc.

The Nats absolutely have a history. Perhaps the younger fans do not claim it but they should.

Don't be bashful about claiming Gary Carter, Galarraga, Grissom, Walker, or Vlad. Let's not forget pitching: Pedro, Steve Rogers, Mike Marshall, Wetteland, etc.

Maybe not the history and depth to challenge Yankees in most franchise leagues but they are represented in ATG.
Walker should be dominant 2015 set. But if 2015 is added, unless he gets derailed by injury or drugs so should the next 10 years. But you cannot give him 10 cards in ATG when so many HOFers are only represented by a card or two. Need to wait until retirement so we can look back with respective and select the top season or seasons.

Adam Wainwright from 2013. The cards teams of the 2000's are not well represented in pitching, could make a case for him or Chris Carpenter.

I'd like to see ATG's done in the mystery card version, or even an average of a 3-5 year period. Gets rid of some flashes in the pan, also for players like Harper they need x total seasons before it makes any sense to put them in there.

I'd like to see this also for franchise team games. To me, franchise players should be those who were one of the better players on the team for a few years, not a free agent that had one good season.

2003 Vernon WELLS- Jays need a good CF option (735ab/215hts/49doubles/33hr/909 ops), multiple all-star and gold glover

instead of playing Barfield in centre, reducing his defence and they dont even have his 40 hr year to boot!

other Jays suggestions:

2006 BJ RYAN- Jays need a good lefty in pen(86kin 70 ip/0.85 whip)
2009 Adam LIND- Strictly a platoon vs rhp
2000 Tony Batista-35 hr vs rhp
1999 Matt Stairs (not a Jay that year, but one of the best ever by a Canadian)
2000 Shannon Stewart
