Just as further clarification, regarding rule #2, this choice of player DOES NOT have to be one who played for your franchise, all other players then chosen after the auto-draft must have played for the franchise, correct?

the plus 1 is someone who is not part of or ever played for the 12 listed...ie Ted Williams...Jeter...Dickey...Nel stars minus satch willard brown and troupe...and correct after the auto draft any player regardless if they have a card for your team can be selected as long as he played for your club

Just to make it clear:

The plus 1 player must not be tied to any franchise listed...So the Babe as an example is property of the Braves...any card...but Willie Mays can be used as a plus 1 for any one...since Giants and Mets are not on the list
