That is one of the many posts that got locked due to an argument with Herr Strether.

There was even one where I explicitly asked him not to post anymore b/c it was clear that if he did the thread would get locked...

One of the tactics he uses is to report a post when he clearly loses an argument- such as the one you mentioned which also had a post by the Druid removed prior to it being locked.

Im sure if you search his name a number of them will appear-
however some won't b/c they have been completely removed.

While I personally never respond to anything I.strether writes, as it is a waste of time and he really does not warrant conversation. However to write posts that he is mentally ill and including writing mocking posts of family members is not funny and totally out of bounds.

I have to correct you on some things here;

While ordinarily making fun of personal things would be off limits-
a) he is the one who brought up the subject in question to begin with-
b) the mental illness thing is not a joke- however since he is the one who made many references to others, think it became more than fair game.
c) he himself has no compunction about sharing other's personal information- and has done so, in what I would consider an inappropriate manner.
