ATG Player Addition #2 Poll

i am all about the players that have never had cards before. whats the cap on ruth cards? i get that most people feel that the card being voted for is his best. however is it really that much better than his current best card. how much will it cost....14 million..therefore used only in the higher priced leagues.

i voted for green, bautista, tulo, finley. modern day players, no cards. helps out some franchises as well. multi-tool players who have been one of the greats in their era.

Felix Jose has a card.....shawn green does not.

Tulo seems to be a sure winner. Green, Baustista, Fielder, and Renteria all have excellent shots. Finley might not make is this time, but wait till next....month, is it?

like to give some love to the original "Louisville Slugger" also fred lynn, tommy davis, MICKEY VERNON, & a great list of other worthy HOF seasons.

PETE BROWNING HAS NO CARD

I have organized, and run numerous franchise leagues.. another Ruth Card would be worthless from that perspective.. My picks were: Renteria because he could fill a gap at SS for the ATL exp, Abreu because the Phillies exp lacks good corner OF, Finley because the padres exp might become usable with a few more players (we still need a viable 2b option there), Sandy Alomar Jr. (gives a decent CLE exp option), and Metzger because he can provide SS cover at both the Giants (when using Vizquel elsewhere) and Astros (if Thon is too expensive)..

In the end, I hope SOM moves back to the original approach which was bundling top teams from each era.. this would fill all the franchise holes in one card drop...

I hereby nominate Todd Hundley '96 as the next addition to the ATG8 list of free agents. I would also like to see Eric Davis '96 on the list as well.
