While happy they added the cards, why guys vote for some cards boggles my mind.

ie. Ashburn/Mays/Dimaggio, Drysdale, Rivera etc...

If you play in team based theme leagues, make your vote count next time around. Help out the EXP teams.
Vote for guys that fill in those teams.

And while you vote for these guys, vote for their BEST years.

Hanley Ramirez is better for a few pennies less

FWIW- Stephens is maxed out BOTH ways where, Hanley is maxed out ONLY vs. RH's.

Personally, I don't think we need anymore Rose, Mays or Dimaggio cards!!!

That Pete Rose is sweet! At least two of the cards are way overpriced in relation to very similar cards.

Lefty O'Doul's card does not look appropriate for a 30 plus homerun player.

O'Doul does seem short on home runs, but he's Mr. OBP. It will be interesting to see how these cards play.

I agree on the duplication in the Mays, Dimag, Ashburn, etc. cards, but we did vote for them.

It seems like there are a bunch of useful cards here, though--ones that will be interesting to try out. I agree with Petro that next time we might want to focus on voting in cards that will help teams at lower salary caps.

Also, SOM is showing some heretofore unexpected marketing smarts by tying in the new cards (delivered ahead of schedule for a change) with a sale on 3 & 5 packs. Let's hope this heralds a new epoch of customer service.

O'Doul in 1929-1930 was the "little brother" to Chuck Klein when offense exploded. Plus they were lefties in Baker Bowl. O'Doul hit 19 HR in 1929 in Baker Bowl and another 6 in Sportsman's Park. I would say his home run power was park and era-dependent, which is probably reflected in his card.

Interesting that O'Doul is priced higher than his "big brother." They originally had him priced at $8.76, which is only reasonable if you are pricing cards off of the raw stats.

Richie Ashburn's new card is still about a million more bucks than it should be.
