Scot - nice to see you back at your roots. Petco, Billy Hamilton - exactly as I envisioned your return. I didn't expect you to be tempted to go with the closest stadium, the swimming pool surrounded coincidentally by a ballpark.

On a side note, just finished reading Shoeless Joe by WP Kinsella. Man, that is so much better than the movie - love the whole JP Salinger angle, and the stream of consciousness style. Wish I hadn't seen the movie so my images would be purely from the book.

Tim: Good to be back. That Hamilton is a fun one; I'm sure my array of slowpokes and gbA specialists will more than neutralize him. I realize one can't go home again and that things are different here now, but I'm betting it can still be a fun place with the odd OCD tendencies encouraged rather than ridiculed. Strat is pretty much designed (I think it's even in the DSM) for the OCD population.

As for Kinsella, that's a very good book and you're right, Salinger is the right angle and Hollywood, as is often the case, was just plain wrong in many ways of handling the book. I very much enjoyed The Iowa Baseball Confederacy as well.

Yes, if your dream turns into a nightmare, you are free to do what you will with your roster. Once the teams are drafted, you may dpd wjat you want with your roster.

Maybe we could have a supplemental draft with the new cards at this rate. Or simply wait until ATG 9 or 10.
