Is this card horrendous or do I just have bad luck? I am 90 games in and he has missed 15 games due to injury. He has 17 homeruns in 290 at bats and is rocking an impressive .235/.311/.431.
What gives? I had hopes with this new card. Has anyone seen it perform yet?

I love Willie..but he doesn't love me (well not since ATGIII). Tried that card about half dozen times in 100m and higher caps, you know in the optimum parks etc.....sometimes I get some nice power numbers but rarely get anything over .240 (so far) as a batting average.

I have been happy with the new version so far in a neutral park. Taking advantage of the lower pay from back in the day to bribe Willie to not hit much for Nev.

I've got Willie in a $145m league.
Through 51 games, he has 25 hrs to lead the league, 57 bis (3rd), 43 rs (4th)

So far no complaints with the '65 Willie.
Just got Willie in a trade 19 games ago, so this is a small sample size. I play in Minute Maid, $130m cap. He's rocking it in these past 19 games:
