It is interesting to me to see which players are being taken where.

I am surprised Honus Wagner and Hank Aaron lasted until the 5th team selection, when in an auto draft they would be fairly high up on most player's lists.

Picking early in this theme is not necessarily easy. Since almost everyone is available there are several different ways to construct a team. Of course, I may not have this opinion when I am picking 11th and 12th with the leftover's you weasels are going to leave available.

yeah as you go further down the list, one player here or there can change everything. I decided to go small ball and leftycentric, but when arky went, wagner was the only option, a great one at that, for SS. like I said, I was actually gonna use a much cheaper wagner as a 1b, a card that will seldom be around because someone will have taken him as their SS. also had cobb in CF, and when I saw that oversight, switched to joe d., and then opened up the stadium to bp singles on both sides since i now had wagner, aaron,joe d., and breshnahan. the later it goes, you start building teams around that one or two monster guy you can't pass up that's still out there, and tailor to him

I wasn't in that one, but over a year ago, in a $60M version, I won from the 12 spot. Went .500 with the first pick.

I think in our previous season at 100M, Meat won the series from the 12th spot. At 140M, I don't think anyone picking that deep got that close.
