ATG8 DREAMLEAGUE SEASON I,LJs UP, rburgh to finish

Well, with the new cards comes a new opportunity for the twelve season commitment that is the dream league, where EVERY owner gets a shot at picking his ideal team, including a crack at number one overall. in past editions, we have set 140-million dollar cap so that the teams drafting late can be competitive, and often, the team drafting number one overall doesn't even make the playoffs,, and those picking deep, have won divisions and titles.
It'll be harder without diamond dope to draft your entire team on, and thus automatically separate who has and hasn't been picked, but we'll just have to do it on the ILC, posting each team as they're drafted. your roster does not have to fit the SOM draft page...it can be 24 players, and different hitters and pitchers totals, you'll just have to draft a phantom scrub or two when the league fills, and change them out after waivers. squatters rights will be established by the names on the draft boards. in the event of more than twelve signing up, anyone who was in previous Dream Leagues has priority. (I pray we even get twelve!) I'll post former owners for reminder.

I (along with a few of the other managers from this league) are in another dream league and SOM has worked with us to conduct a similar type of draft on the SOM site. There are some minor adjustments that have to be made but the process has run fairly smoothly and much quicker than on the DD site.

Yeah, this type of draft works pretty well with some SOM-assisted adjustments to the live draft. The Garcia blog had a post about it a while ago. Works much more quickly than the diamonddope live draft, which is horribly slow sometimes.
