An early blog today because, they're here! The 20 new players to ATG 8 that were voted on by you have just now been added to the site. The list of players added, along with their salaries, are shown below:
Wilie Mays, 1957- 11.11 M
Carlos Delgado, 2000- 9.49 M
Joe DiMaggio, 1948- 9.46 M
Al Rosen, 1953- 9.06 M
John Olerud, 1993- 9.00 M
Hughie Jennings, 1896- 8.94 M
Sam Crawford, 1911- 8.53 M
Andres Galarraga, 1998- 8.23 M
Lefty O'Doul, 1929- 7.67 M
Gary Sheffield, 2003- 7.57 M
Chipper Jones, 2008- 7.40 M
Bobby Thomson, 1951- 6.69 M
Edgar Martinez, 1997- 6.59 M
Pete Rose, 1968- 6.34 M
Mo Vaughn, 1995- 5.97 M
Vern Stephens, 1949- 5.90 M
Richie Ashburn, 1955- 5.84 M
Heinie Groh, 1917- 4.96 M
And the two pitchers added:
Don Drysdale, 1962- 7.16 M
Mariano Rivera, 2005- 5.35 M
It's not a separate ATG 8, they're added right into the current player set. However these players are not integrated into current ATG 8 leagues, only new teams will see them. For leagues that haven't filled yet, you will be able to add these players by leaving the league and then changing your draft list.
In addition, we have launched a fall sale!
For the next two weeks 5-packs are now on sale for only $69.99. The 3-pack is back also, for even cheaper than last year! You can now purchase 3 credits for just $44.99. This runs through noon ET on Thursday, November 6th so make sure to stock up before then.
