ATG 5 Mock Drafts available for testing

I've got some ATG V Mock Drafts up and running as a test. Please feel free to jump in one and kick the tires.

[b:b805429f10]Important note:[/b:b805429f10] As you may already know, I've been having difficulties upgrading the Flash app to support the multiple-cards-per-player concept of ATG V. So in order to deliver it to those of you who've been waiting for it, I'm resorting to a hack where [b:b805429f10]only the most expensive card for each player[/b:b805429f10] is represented in the draft. This means when you see "Babe Ruth" in there, that's really his 1921 card (thus he's ranked #1), and that card is what you'll ultimately get on your roster if you draft him. There will be no added feature where you can instantly switch to his 1927 card, at least for the time being. So you'll have to drop a card to the free agent pool and pick up your desired alternate, as is the case currently.

Known issues:
- If you search for a name, you'll often see duplicate entries come up. Believe it or not, this is not caused by the multiple cards; this quirk has always been around. It doesn't affect any functionality though.

- If you double-click on a name to pop up his card, you won't be brought to the correct (i.e. most expensive) card necessarily. I'm working on that.

Please let me know if you spot any outstanding bugs. Thanks...

In fact I would indeed like to try a test tonight.

I am going to make this live draft test, and the resulting full season, FREE OF CHARGE for all involved, with the following requirements.

- You must be present for most of the draft.

- You participate at your own risk. So if there is a problem (e.g. the draft crashes, or the league somehow gets messed up after the draft), you won't necessarily have the free season coming to you, and don't complain that your time was wasted. This is a test, and you're volunteering to help, with the [i:0e6f2eb8f4]likely[/i:0e6f2eb8f4] reward of a free season.

- There will be a [b:0e6f2eb8f4]new, 2-minute pick time limit[/b:0e6f2eb8f4] in effect, as opposed to the usual 1:30. This will serve as a test of different pick time limits that should soon become customizable. In the few drafts I've done I've found 1:30 is too short for my personal taste, so I think 2:00 is a good limit for those (like me) who are intimidated by the quickness of the Flash draft.

- Don't set your pre-rankings until further notice. It's ATG V-broken.

I've created the league: ATG V Live Draft test; password: branyan

Draft starts tonight at 9pm ET. Go ahead and join, and later you'll get a reimbursement for your credit.
