pitcher's injury question in the 80's

Postby ROGGIE » Tue Apr 26, 2011 8:17 pm

hey there:

I just lost my opening day starting pitcher--a 7* starter for 6 games. Because this is the 80's, I am wondering if there is a key to figuring out which card I have. I know for hitters, if a hitter has over 680 pa's they can't be injured-- 600-679 is max of 3 games. Is there any rule to pitchers as well based on innings pitched. I can't find anything in the help doc's for the 80's and can't find a search in the forum to perhaps see if this was addressed?

Thanks;

Buddy

If they pitched under 200 innings they can be injured for up to 15 games. Over 200 and they are injured for 3 which is as good as not injured at all. This happens when they pitch to the DH and the roll is a 6-12. The roll I am not sure of but they can only be injured when they face the other teams DH.
