WHY WE PLAY?

Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

Being a woman, I resent that comment. Adam, please invite me to your next 80's league. I am getting ready to play and I doubt that [b:74e3b87725]I[/b:74e3b87725] will be crying should we end up in the same division.

Take it easy! I know who you are, Ms. Baseball. You are ESPN's all time fantasy baseball champion. However, the 80's and the Mystery Card is a different animal. You'll do fine, but it may take a while. Welcome to Stratomatic!

Honestiago, you did a great job with your essay on "Why we play". Stratomatic should put it into their board game literature and give you credit.

More to the point....we do not play. We trade off of the names of the people who did. Good bad or ugly they had a talent i did not ,and i am glad i can use them to toil in SOMBB.

of course it is Conan.

No offense intended, but I guess it is a rather offensive statement out of context (or even in context).

My appologies.

Damn it, Honestiago's gotta have something up his sleeve...

I mean, he's Iago....right? He could be a TSN plant putting tens of thousands of dollars spent on psych profiles based on university and market research. That was just too good...(I want more teams, NO! I Do NOT!). Fellas, Ladies, don't be taken in by this charlatan! Don't be lemmings to the machine that is the Sporting News no matter your loyalty to the SOM brand (maybe just one more team). Join me in resisting this blatant appeal to the blatantly obvious weaknesses in our collective character that keep us coming back for more mismanaged bullpens and Hal-icidal thoughts!!

(ahh hell, maybe I can finally get Gooden and Scott's best cards this time... )
