goredsox,

How Strat determines the clutch rating is a matter of controversy. First, we don't know exactly the formula by which Strat determines the clutch rating. What we know is that Strat uses the clutch as a rbi-modifyer. My understanding--to take one example-- is that if the Yankees produced during the 2005 season 900 runs, and if the Yankees are producing 950 runs per season as an average during the simulations, the clutch ratings will be used to lower down the production, with some players having better or worse clutch ratings depending on their production with two outs in real life or on their usual position in the line-up.

And please DON'T WRITE IN CAPITAL LETTERS because it means that YOUR ARE ANGRY AND SCREAMING.

First, thank you for posting this info. It is very valuable to know.

I just want to add that the individual settings for the various cards actually say "don't pinch hit FOR vs. lefties (or righties)" That means you don't want HAL bringing someone in to hit for the batter in question.

No problem. I got the idea from something somebody said that they thought it meant don't USE the player as a pinch hitter.

Prior to selecting your players and a draft is there somewhere you can check out the ballpark ratings?

Thanks
