Do you think my defense can get me through?

that's now how you post a link to your team. It needs to have a userid at the end of the URL.

To do this, go to the statistics page. Then click on the link to your team from that page. Copy and paste that URL here (it should have an ?userid=xxxx at the end of it).

My previous '06 team missed the playoffs on the last game. Finished 85-77.
Had great pitching, great defense. OBP was terrible (.291)

Wow, Soriano w/ 50 homeruns in Petco.....too bad nobody was on base when he hit 'em.

Hmmm, I don't think your defense will carry you through. It seems a bit shaky to me: Soriano is a good DH bargain, but as an everyday 2B (against R?) ouch, Furcal + Youkilis + 3s in LF and RF, and a 2 in CF won't improve your pitching much. But then you've spent quite a bit on pitching.

How about slow hooking the starters and downgrading some of your relief and one or two of your utility men? Escobar seems particularly extravagant. Don't know your FAs but you can probably parlay into another bat without losing much beyond the 80%.

Good Luck.

Thanks Hershey. You're right. If only more men were on base.
