Weighted Waivers
Posted: Tue Aug 04, 2009 2:08 pmIn trolling around old threads I came upon news of a change in determining waiver order for certain SOM games. Which games they are I am unsure about. The post I am referring to was made by LMBombers(hey LM, long time no chat w/) in an 80's forum thread:

I have a few questions about this change in order determination. Does anyone know how many SOM games have this change in effect for them? Which games they are? When did this change occur? How well known is this change by the rank & file of regular players for those games? Has it resulted in strategic changes in auto draft order for those affected games by the more successful veteran mgrs?
I would appreciate any light that could be shed on this topic. If there are any threads about weighted waivers that someone could point me to on any of the forums that would be great.
