Trade Advice

Playing the 2008 set, Minute Maid field is my home ballpark. Would you do this trade??

We're 50-ish games in, I was offered this trade:

[u:db57632149]I get[/u:db57632149]:
Ryan Howard
Jimmy Rollins
Mike Lowell

[u:db57632149]He gets[/u:db57632149]:
Kevin Youkilis
Michael Young
Casey Blake

Youkilis was the # 2 rated hitter for the '08 set but hasn't done ANYTHING for me. Howard has almost double the HR (with SO of course). I could DH Howard since I also have Morneau (serviceable on DEF and having a nice year at the plate). Rollins would be an upgrade at SS and Lowell could platoon with Jorge Cantu at 3B (or at least be a better DEF replacement than Blake).

Don't Do it

Youkilis is dominant at first this year and Howard and Rollins are yawners just like Young, Blake is better than Lowell.

Move Youkilis to another batting position to shake HAL up

I see this question is almost a month old, so it probably does not matter, but I do not think it would have been a bad trade. I think you would have been upgrading several positions. Young is not better than Rollins. And Blake is NOT better than Lowell. Lowell may be more injury prone, but his card and defense are better than Blake's.

Either way;....I hope things are working out (or worked out) for you.
