[quote:7dc08020f1="Palmtana"]Everything's groovy, Steve. TSN_10588 needs a helping hand though.

They've been stuck on 11 for awhile so someone needs to draft this team and help them out.[/quote:7dc08020f1]

Thanks for the plug; we finally filled the last slot today.

Like those in the other threads the players in this one are dated. The ideas are not.

This is a useful site when giving others advice about their team under construction. You can view available FA's, other teams in the division, etc. (For the newest 200X game use the ATGIII menu)
http://www.strato.berce.us/

To post a link to your team:
1. Go to your leagues statistics page.
2. Click on your team.
3. Paste the resultant URL (which will have [i:47aeb9e027]user_id=xxxxx[/i:47aeb9e027] at the end) in the forum.

Is your team over/underachieving? Plug in your runs scored, allowed and games played at Diamond Dope.

A little bump on this....

I downloaded some codes that I modified for Strat use, over here:

http://berselius.blogspot.com/2010/02/building-markov-lineup-simulator.html

The code has many purposes, but you can use it to test different lineups. For now, I did not incorporate the value of different outs (flyB, gbB, gbC, etc, most importantly gbA), but I did test the impact of clutch. One test I did: I had Sandoval hitting third (clutch -16) and Salazar hitting 5th (clutch +6). I exchanged their clutch rating (gave Sandoval +6, and Salazar -16). It costs the team 8 runs. Basically 1 win.

I almost traded their spots (put Sandoval 5th and Salazar 3rd, without changing their cards), and the team also produced on average 8 fewer runs.
