Who are people using with good success?

I have been using Valverde/ Wagner/ Hoffman vs RHBs

and

Fultz/ Beimel vs. LHBs.

Most of my use has come in hitter's parks.

Anyone been successful with cheaper players?

I had a nice season once w/ Al Reyes and Trever Miller, although I have to say I've spent more time this card set w/ just one med-high range closer, low budget value guys and a loogy or two.

I have had mixed luck with Trevor Hoffman/C.J Wilson. The two combined cost a little over 4 million. In one league I made the playoffs with this combo, in another league(60 million dollar cap) I am 10 games under .500. I stared of 22-11. And now I am 55-65. It is a shame because I was so gung ho to try a 60 million dollar league, and my team started off so well, and now I am in the basement, in part to my two headed closer. But on the lighter side I am only 5 games out of first place. I can't figure out why this team started so hot, and then went SO COLD! I probably JINXED them when I posted them on this site after a hot start. I won't be making that mistake again any time soon. But too your question,...I think a two headed closer can work. In the 1986 game I used Worrell/Hernadez and it got me a championship. Good luck!

Hey Milter...things may be looking up for you. Sounds like you match up well within your division, thus the fast start. So at least you can look forward to closing out the season on a winning note, just stay the course through your non-division games!
