Pitching rotation in the playoffs question

Pitching rotation in the playoffs question

Postby theflapjack » Thu May 22, 2008 11:21 am

This will be my first time in the playoffs. I see that there are some days off before the series begins as well as the championship series. So I'm wondering two things. If you have your ace pitch the last game of the season will he be able to be the game 1 starter in the playoffs? Also if he were to pitch the game 5 of the first series would he be ready to pitch game 1 of the championship series.
If anyone has a strategy to set up the rotation going into the playoffs I would appreciate the knowledge greatly.

Your S* ace can start these games with the required 3 days rest:

gm 161

semis gm 1
semis gm 5 (if needed)

finals gm 3
finals gm 7

if not needed for semis gm 5

finals gm 1 and 5 or

finals gm 2 and 6 or

finals gm 3 and 7
