Meanwhile, the other night, we lose another one in extras to Big A due to a bpsi 1-10. Right now we would be tied for first if not for a 1-6 3b and a 1-10 single. That's how SOM works. It's when you get your breaks. :(

Not over for us, but we're going to need to sweep, starting tonight. Six of our next nine are with Big A. Put up or shut up time for the Merlot. Hopefully we'll get a few splits of our own!

Holy Cow! The boys responded with a sweep! And, on the road. :shock:

We did get a couple of breaks, a pair of 1-4 HRs, but nothing that, by itself, was a game winner. Still, it was nice to pick up some splits!

Well, 1 back with 9 to play. No let up boys. Semper swept us last time. We better be ready to play.

The Central is also close Hawk and Smoke 2 behind Zim and Jeep is also 2 back of AT. Barring something very strange, one of these five teams will be the WC with Jeep and Zim holding a 2 game lead over the other three.

Got a big two wins tonight v Semper. Game 2 was the critical game. Won 2-1 in extras. Casilla gets a BS and a W. A WP ties the game (he's 1-20 so hard to complain about that too much), but we win mostly because Freeman (2e6) gives up a single and an error! :shock:

Tied for first with Big A. HUGE series next. Winner probably takes the division.

Central is also tied Smoke and Zim! They don't play each other the rest of the way however.

AT holds his 2 game lead over Jeep. They play tonight @ Jeep. Jeeper just might need a sweep. One of the two is likely to be the WC in any case. But the second place team in the Central, especially since they *don't* play each other could slip in there.

If I'm not mistaken, our league will finish on the new site. Friday's games will be played on Monday. Am I reading that correctly?
