Finders Keepers Keeper League

If we have the clock, I think we should allow skipping, Let's encourage everyone to use proxies during the weekend. But maybe not do skipping this weekend, since not everyone knows.

OK, just so we are all going forward with the same assumptions.
Draft dlcok is on 10-10 est, including weekends. Please don't skip this weekend, but after this weekend, skipping allowed on weekends, just like during the weekend. Use those proxies! :D

ya not to complain but we need to have more proxy's set. and start skipping more.

...watch npw I won't have enough proxy's set and will have to get mad at myself.

I typically set 6 or 7 for the upcoming 2 rounds.

Given that we got off to a slow start, I have no problem with the clock being on the weekends. While I'd prefer it to be off, I won't object to what the group wants.

Just need to set up the proxies :)

I was debating on Kemp or Jones. I would have felt a lot better if you picked before me so my decision was easier.

Kemp is a great pick - I was looking at him but with shortstop a premium position I needed Reyes, even with his injury this year.

well with Ironwill's last pick we are up to ten percent done. :)

I've mentioned this before, this is my first time in a keeper league, so please excuse the stupid questions.

Okay, after this draft is done, we enter a league and fill out a draft card with 25 of our 40 players. So far so good I hope.

Here's my doubt, we have to draft 10/15, but if I wanted to go 11/14 or 12/13, for example, I could do it before play starts, using the players on my 40 man roster. Is this correct as long as a) I always have 25 and b) meet all Strat requirements?

thanks

Dave - you are correct. You will have to carry a 25 man roster, but the you can go 10/15 or 11/14 - whatever you like. Once the teams are in, the SOM game engine rules on team makeup apply.

Reyes was next on my list actually. I wasn't sure how far he would end up falling because of the injury. Not far enough. This draft is going much differently than I had anticipated. A few players have gone well before I had expected.

Thanks for taking Kemp first, Ray!
:D
Actually I think are both about even in ability, but I wanted someone LH for balance. A couple trends in the draft so far - Pitcher heavy, SS heavy, and about even between "win now" and stock up for the future.
I have been really happy with the guys that have fallen to me so far. We'll see if that lasts.

And if you don't have a ss yet, don't worry, Yuniesky Betancourt is still available!
