Unexpected star and goat in 90s league

I had Brett Saberhagen's 1994 card (RL 2.74 ERA, 1.03 WHIP). He went 9-18 with a 4.65 ERA.

I also had Ken Hill's 1997 card (RL 4.55 ERA, 1.52 WHIP). He went 14-3 with a 4.19 ERA.

So, after a slow start to the season, my team was propelled to the playoffs after I picked up Ken Hill and his worst card.

Saberhagen capped a miserable season by losing game 7 of the semi-finals.

It was a fun season, but I definitely got some strange results!

Stadium: Kauffman (14/14, 3/3)
Defense: Excellent, including all 1's in the infield
5-man rotation

Because of injuries late in the season, I had to use Chip Hale as my DH.
As luck would have it, he seems to like RH'ers in the 1993 season.

Not bad for .75 cents...

Speaking of .75 guys doing well. Darnell Coles had a pretty good season playing 125 games.
