I don't think most would disagree it s/b $60, just pointing out that what most of us use as the source for info regarding what is going on does not have the correct info.

as long as he posts the changes quickly and clearly for all to see without margin for misunderstanding

The commish posted this less than two days after the question was posted. Seems pretty clear to me.

Everybody "participating" in the tournament should check this forum regularly, if not daily. This is where the latest info is posted, not Bernie's homepage.

It would be nice if we could rely on the homepage for current info, but it has never been the source for the latest, has never posted current rulings or changes by the commish, has never been entirely accurate or up to date, and after all these years I wouldn't hold my breath that it ever will be.

Maybe it would help if the homepage at least stated boldly: ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST REGULARLY CHECK THE PLAYER'S CHAMPIONSHIP FORUM FOR THE LATEST TOURNEY INFO.

Most of us do anyway, and most who do seem to have no problem knowing what's going on.

Well put.

It WILL be 60 Mill like I said before. I believe that it was just an error when creating the HP and should be pretty much a non issue since I think everyone agrees that it makes sense.

Leagues will open for Event 5 on Monday the 19th

It's pretty clear for those of us who read this post, not so much for those who have not read the post and are expecting to read the schedule and have it be accurate.

Event 5: AL- or NL- only (choose one)
begins: Sep 26 or Oct 3
Salary Cap: $80,000,000 (standard)
Draft: Auto-Draft (standard)
DH Rule: Yes (standard)

P.C. Event 5 League 1 doesn't specify AL or NL - so which is it? It does indicate a 60 M, DH league.

Just finished entered my squad under these parameters.

In the future I would suggest the tiered drop penalty be used.

Its tough losing 20% value in a player selected from an already thinned pool and hope to find a replacement.

Makes the draft a boom or bust proposition IMO. More about good auto draft skills than managing a squad using a limited player pool.

Total agreement on the drop penalty. 20% hit in a $60MM league is just brutal and ridiculous.
