Posted: Tue Jul 13, 2010 7:31 amWhy not simply double up a couple of the events, staggering their openings by a week or so? It would allow us to fit in the extra event and/or end the Tour earlier. It seems as though many of the better players are accustomed to running 2-3 teams at the same time anyway. Signups might be an issue, but if it's done earlier in the Tour when everyone's attention levels are peaking...? :roll:

Posted: Thu Jul 15, 2010 6:35 amI would be in favor of starting next year's Players Championship before this year's Finals are complete. Ideally, right after the new game comes out and a few weeks after the Finals league begins. I think that would actually draw more interest to the Finals league from the other tour members, and for those in the Finals - they will have been running multiple teams throughout the PC anyways so it's not like starting the new tour would be that much different.
If we did that, we wouldn't need to eliminate any of the events from this year.
Hopefully, we can then bring the tour back up to 7 events like it used to be and bring back a couple of live draft events.

1. I just sent out an email to everyone (hopefully) that has signed up for the Tour. If you did not receive an email please send me an email letting me know (somcommish@hotmail.com).
2. The last league for Event 1 has not yet filled, if you wish to participate in the tour and have not signed up yet, please do so ASAP! Another thing, if you want to be a filler for this league please email me!
3. If there are no objections, we will begin Event 2 sign ups right now!
I want to get this really moving so we can hopefully have the majority of the finals done before the new cards are released.
