2006 Tournament Board sign-up thread

the official tournament of SOM Baseball 20xx

OK, I have PT'd the proposed rules for 2006 to the following:

Bigalric
novie
Mr. Baseball World
Woods007
tersignf
sykes
jaydingess

Please check your PTs and send me any suggestions/changes/modifications you can think of. I tried to lay out rules for when live drafts can be stopped (since that was a big issue last year) and tried to clarify the rules for Penngray's Auction Draft. I also tried to anticipate other issues that could come up, and incorporated the changes that were voted on in the polls I set up at the end of the season: changing the postseason scoring system and allowing managers who play at least 6 leagues to drop their lowest score.

I compiled all the suggestions and sent them back out to tersignf, woods, bigalric, novie, jaydingess and mr. baseball world. Ya'll read 'em over and let me know what you think as soon as you can. I'd like to post the rules and a sign-up thread by Wednesday (March 1). I think that'd be an appropriate date to begin our 'spring training' season!

Tee - going over your draft. Will get back to you tonite. I have one other thing tho. Bernie made this statement in a posting on regular thread "Teaser: The 2006 Player's Tour will be made Official this year.". What does that mean and what if anything will change from our rules?

Thanks

i think for next year tour you should seriously consider moving away from the 20% player transaction penalty... something like 10% would encourage a lot more movement, interest, and excitement... leagues sometimes get boring once they get started...
