Three more leagues closed out regular seasons last night, and half the eligible managers have now dropped low scores. Two more leagues wrap up next week, with the final league finishing regular season play the following week.

Trick or treat time. Looks like a wild party for those precious final spots! :D

[quote:63ff02799d="TomSiebert"]The SuperReliever strategy is, to me, the biggest flaw in this game.

Agreed. I wish we knew what IP TSN had approximated reliever usage to be when setting prices; that would be a ballpark for the best number to use as a maximum. But as long as it's 200, you either have to take advantage or lose to people who are taking advantage.

When will the "official tour page" be updated?

Good question. It's going on 4 years since TSN took over the Tour, and we're still waiting.

A few teams from PC09 Ev5.3 have not had their scores updated, fwiw.

Have a feeling I'm going to be hanging on my fingernails for one of the last spots.

Thanks, [b:dd26a03d0f]Tom,[/b:dd26a03d0f] fixed now I think. Just a few missing braincells on my part.

Last projection has you barely but safely in the semis at 90.6. Less certain about [b:dd26a03d0f]Jeep[/b:dd26a03d0f] at 90.0, but looks like the odds are still with him, too.

Dude! Ninety-point-EIGHT....ninety-point-EIGHT! I'm going to need every last decimal, puh-leeeze! :)

Actually, I think it's 90.75, but I guess the numbers are rounded up.

Yikes, how right you are! But not really my fault...as I said, the braincells are thinning like hair, probably even faster. :(

Geez, 90.8, yer a freakin' shoo-in! :D

Yes, averages are rounded, but I think in all cases ties are really ties, and will be settled by "official" tiebreakers: Championships won, then finals made, then playoffs made, then total regular season wins, etc.

Big update after tonight's games. Should come close to settling the Semifinalists, tho there will still be a week or two of jostling for final seed position.

Just 3 Shots Left!

With all but the final league reporting and 5 leagues in playoffs, looks like the 36 Semi-Finalists are almost set.

Still some juggling in store for seed position, but only 3 remaining managers appear to have a shot at displacing [b:c79d5f49cb]salmonbellies[/b:c79d5f49cb] for the 36th spot:

[b:c79d5f49cb]44. Cummings2:[/b:c79d5f49cb] Our illustrious Commish needs some miracles, but anything's possible in the world of Strat. He needs 88 points from his final league, and so far has 65. Trailing the wildcard by 10 and division leader by 18 with 21 games left. But, he's a great Commish!

[b:c79d5f49cb]52. SteadyEddie33:[/b:c79d5f49cb] A mathematical chance, but looks like an even longer shot than [b:c79d5f49cb]C2.[/b:c79d5f49cb] Needs 103 points from final league, so far with only 68. Trailing wildcard by 7, division leader by 17 with 21 to play.

[b:c79d5f49cb]60. McBurns:[/b:c79d5f49cb] An excellent shot at the Top 36! Comfortably leading division with 83 wins, needs just 106 points total, with 21 games to go and playoff potential. Could get in just by finishing 13-8 to take the division, or even 8-13 and making the finals.

For those following along at home, here's a link to the final league:

Whenever you get a chance, mesquiton, a few playoff series have closed out and the standings can be updated.
