I read the request and I'm starting to contact managers. I'll be trying to take care of this situation to accomodate everyone.

Thank you for the suggestion I'll see how we can encourage people to sign and load more quickly for event two so as to make the experience more pleasant for everyone.

I'm in and out today but I will be "in" enough to monitor the situation.

I hesitated when signing up knowing that I wouldn't be able to load until Friday. I was not sure if there would be another league and I signed up around the weekend not knowing how long the league would take to fill. I was hoping the timing would work. I'm more than happy to jump in league seven if you have someone else. I'll switch with Coffeeholic.

Al Hogg, another option that I can offer you is if you move to league 7. It is more than likely that league 7 will load after the weekend and start league play in the 15 (it will be our late comers league) if that schedule fits you better let us know and we'll reserve a spot for you there.

Ok. Here's the update:

I have contacted [i:8994ffce5f]two[/i:8994ffce5f] managers that have already loaded their teams in league 7. If they want to move to this league they will report here, let us know and switch to this league. I do not want to start just asking everyone to avoid further confusion and havoc. In case someone that is currently signed for this league is not in the league when it finishes loading they will have a warm welcome for them in league 7.

I am hoping we find the fine balance where everybody is accommodated.

I'll be on the road this weekend, so I signed up for this league several days ago, after rushing a team together faster than I wanted to, so as not hold things up, thinking we would surely draft by now. (Yes, I should have known better, as Roscodog points out.)

I agree that managers should be asked not to sign up for leagues unless they have a team ready to enter. Signing up without a team ready not only makes it frustrating for those who have to wait, it also keeps others from signing up who might be ready to go.

Teepack's system for autodraft leagues last year seemed to work pretty well. No league signups at all, just post the leagues and passwords, and enter a league when ready. Except for live drafts, I don't know what signups add, other than slowing down the process.

Not yet certain, but I might have no access this weekend, not sure I can even participate in waivers if we don't draft tonight. I hate jumping leagues, but might have to if we don't draft.

So, I'll hang in at least thru tonight, but no promises after that. I should know by tomorrow for sure, but if I can't participate in waivers and FA moves, will be looking for a spot in the late league.

Please note I'm not criticizing anybody here, all good guys within the rules as Al noted, and obviously trying to accommodate, and I appreciate C2 already addressing the signup issue...but unfortunately, that's my situation.
