Injuries....

Postby caimrisek » Sun Nov 02, 2008 12:23 pm

Hopefully someone can answer this for me about injuries. I understand that injury occurances per player are rated from 0 to 5...0 being non-existant to 5 being an almost everyday occurance. What I don't understand is how the length of injury is determined by the computer. For example...I have Andre Ethier on Agua Mala who was just injured for 15 games. His injury rating is a 1. Now, I'm sure there is some injury chart the computer uses (just like the board game has)...but...are the longer injuries a greater occurance for players with a higher injury rating or...?

Thanks to all that answer!!! :D

After the injury roll occurs, HAL rolls the die again to determine the duration of the injury.

PA's = (AB's + BB's):

<600 PA's - 15 game max. (see Ethier, A.)
600-679 - 3 game max.
680+ - rest of game
162 GP - can't be injured

The function of the 1-5 injury rating is to determine [b:f26e7fec59]how often[/b:f26e7fec59] a player goes down.
Hopefully Andre's replacement can keep your teams head above the bad water.
