Event 3, League 5 - Sign-up Thread (Live Draft)

Guys - When the 16th pick is made and the draft is over, how to we fill our team? How do we get our roster to the regular TSN SOM website? and into the right divisions? Just a rookie, any help would be greatly appreciated. Coachteel

I'm a rookie as well, but here is how I believe it would work -
1. create an 80m team and fill in your drafted players
2. pick your 10 final players to fill the roster
3. sequence the 10 final players 1-10 in priority so they are drafted first, as they are fair game for all
4. sequence your 15 SOM draft site players 11-25 as they are considered yours
5. pick the stadium you selected in the draft
6. join the league after someone creates it - in the order of assigned divisions noted in this thread (we'll get a password)
I've been filling in a team as we go, so hopefully this was correct. I also believe I'll need to look at the SOM draft site to identify available players for the final 10 - so I don't draft someone elses players. Basically, I think it's all manual after the draft is complete, filling out your team, then the regular auto draft runs to load the teams, then I would assume we still have waivers and a preseason. Hopefully someone can confirm if this is the correct approach....

Exactly right, Delbird...one note, as you select the 10 players to fill out your team, double-check with the live draft list to assure you do not grab a guy that has been live-drafted by another.

almost there, Barnak ran out of proxies it seems
.....never mind he picked and we are only two picks away from being done...
We can start loading....someone from the East get us going!! I cannot believe we did the entire draft over the July 4th weekend!!!

Ok guys, the league is created. The name is event3_league5 and I will PM the password to the east...

That didn't work...I created the league, but when I jumped out to allow the East to load, the league was removed.
I guess that's why someone in the East always creates the league...
