All I have to say is thpppppppt!

Actually it proved the rule that good pitching beats good hitting. My beasts in the regular season: Ruth, Mathews, and Palmeiro couldn't buy an RBI in the finals. Ruth, for example, had only two HRs and 3 RBIs in 12 games, compared to 71 HRs and 167 RBIs in the regular season. If only Pedro could have hung on in game 5.

LV had a great team, including on defense. It seemed every time I had a rally going, I would get SS(X) or 2B(X) double play.

Anyway, I'm only a semifinalist and (according to Mr. Weinberg) I shouldn't be on this thread. Best of luck and hopefully you'll see me again in a few weeks. :wink:

i am changing to 080M to keep the suspense alive. this is all we have while we wait for semis to run. i assume anyone can change between now and finals, as to not penalize the managers who posted their preferences first?

I dont mind, as long as you reach an eventual agreement. But if it was moving in the direction you wanted all along (100), I fail to see the logic in tying it back up again. Wouldnt it be easier knowing what it might finally settle on in terms of being able to strategize building your team ?? :shock:
