I complain about game issues and customer service (i.e. Bernie)...But I've never bashed anyone for supporting Bernie or this game. I never told anyone to shut up and stop supporting Bernie and this game or called them fools.

You (guys) have your experience, perspective and opinion and I have mine....and my experience here has been a real mixed bag of good, bad and ugly.

Well said.

We have all had good and bad experiences. Seems like for some time now though many focus on the bad as if that is all that ever happens.

The boards used to be fun to come to and just talk Strat and baseball. Seems like so many posts/threads these days are just rants and whines it feels a lot like going on a date with some woman who spends the entire evening whining about how bad her ex was. After enough dates like that you begin to realize she is carrying a grudge and it is just her nature to complain.

Not saying give Bernie a free pass on everything. Not saying never mention problems. Just hoping for some balance and something positive when deserved.

I believe a lot of the frustration is because we are all paying for a service and for the time being we were playing beta strat. Bernie has been working hard we know this but 3 Weeks now with everything going on has left a bad taste in a lot of peoples mouths.

I don't take shots at anyone for supporting Bernie or this game, until they jump on their holier than thou soapbox attacking the ones who do voice some valid criticisms.

B-rock's point is valid and there is certainly reason for frustration. It would have been huge to have provided a short run of games that were free for those wishing to test until all the kinks were worked out.

I realize now that I should thank you. The Dale Carnegie quote was a real eye opener for me many, many years ago. Fortunately, I learned from it. While I am subject to “relapse” from time to time (I suspect you’ll want to point out quite recently in fact), I’m not the whiner I once was. What I see in you is what I fear most in myself.
