9 different hitters each had 25+ HR's, 103+ RBI's and 122+ Runs scored.

Got really nice seasons out of just about everyone, but especially Goose Goslin, Tubby Scales and Willie Wells (who finished 2nd by 2 votes in the MVP balloting).

Also one of the worst defensive teams I've ever seen be really successful. Interesting relief pitcher strategy as well with all those R5 guys. Gotta love it when a relief pitcher gives up 45 homers and goes 15-4.

I actually missed out on a couple of guys (particularly Eddie Mathews) that made me adjust my lineup considerably (which resulted in Perez at 3B).

They actually went on a late season slide and almost blew an 11 game lead with under 30 games left to play ... :oops:
