No DH??? That is really disappointing. It is going to be really tough for us late round guys.

But with 30 players, think of all those MONSTER pinch hitters you can have!

Yeah, and computer Hal to decide when to use them. I am bummed about this one, but I will get over it, at least it is free. Thanks!

I have until about 3:00pm EST and then I might not be able to pick again until after 11:00pm EST

I Would not have signed up had I known I was picking 11th with no DH, but I am in it now. I am ready to fire when it is my turn.

Most of the bottom tier teams have nothing but DHs.

Personally, I always like picking 11/12 in these two franchise themes. You have a lot better choice of the second team and can really match up strengths and weaknesses in your picks. Picking early gives you a good initial team, but very few options for the second team.

All personal preferences though.

I guess I should have found out ALL the rules, before draft order was assigned. This is a huge disadvantage for guys picking in the bottom half.

Are you going to use "actual pitchers' hitting cards"?

I pick last and I agree with Rob. I'll have the best shot of all, at combining strengths from one team with those from another.

The question is not whether it's DH or no DH. The question is how you combine the talent available to you and place it in the correct ballpark.

Actual pitcher hitting cards or generic ones?

Where we pick is random, but if you think picking 11th or 12 is an advantage you are wrong. I don't really care where I pick (since it is decided at random) the rules however I do care about! We should know those in advance. It is partly my fault for not asking.

Are we using actual pitcher's hitting cards or generic numbered ones?

I think that generic pitchers hitting cards are all that exists. Those of us that have the last few picks in the 2nd round would benefit quit a bit from using a DH. Those teams that will be remaining at that point have one decent hitter at most.
