Also, if it were me, I would drop a RP or 2 and pick up the last good * SP in Romero and just abuse your SP for as much as you can. Leaving Holland to take the rest, as much as possible. I'm getting by with that strategy on another team with Aceves sucking up most of the non SP innings to pretty good success (when my team hits).[/quote:3e60140d1c]

Alright, i just ditched my whole pen to do that. Hopefully holland can pitch a ton of innings. I like where my hitting is for now, but i do kinda want to get bonifacio back.

This works too, in the pen.

Just quick hook everybody except Holland. Conservative bullpen settings too...

I was thinking about 2 RP's totalling around $6-7 million and $.50 quick hooks guys.

Just out of curiosity, what's the FA list look like?

strato.berce.us

Use the FA option and just use ATG3 (everything is under the ATG3 umbrella)

I really don't like Romero's card. Im tempted to drop him for Jaime and bolster up my RP

You have $29.4M in your PETCO pitching staff.

Just saying but I'd check the ATG forum on how to build a pitching park team.

You're not going to see the ROIC for your relief staff. You're sinking $5M too much in the pitchers.

Players on the list that might work:

[b:5bb4a30953]Holliday, Matt[/b:5bb4a30953]
Helton, Todd
Konerko, Paul
[b:5bb4a30953]Giambi, Jason[/b:5bb4a30953]
[b:5bb4a30953]Markakis, Nick[/b:5bb4a30953]
Kotchman, Casey

Pitchers:
[b:5bb4a30953]Aceves, Alfredo[/b:5bb4a30953] over Holland

ATG forum is full of several posts on building rosters for parks favoring pitching (Petco, Forbes, Memorial, several Negro league parks et al)

http://forums.sportingnews.com/viewtopic.php?t=628866

On paper, your roster doesn't follow the typical pitcher park strategy. Of course, the die outcomes makes liars of us all.

I'd sit with 4 high end SP*s, set them for F-4 or below, and grab one $2M closer with several < $1M relievers.

A solid defensive catcher (watch the hold ratings) and no less than 2s at the key defensive positions.

You need at least one hitter with natural HRs (e.g., Napoli) and a few fleet footed batters (e.g., Dee Gordon)
