Another thing that I want to do is ditch Ellis and defense at second base. Weeks is available and I love his bat. I do know it is a bad idea to have a 4 at 2B though. Ellis has just been SOOO bad. i spose i could take weeks and a good defense low price backup but idk.

Jemille or rickie?

for 2B

Nevermind. Guess it would be rickie. I don't know.

EDIT: I might try it with Uggla vs RHPs only.

yeah its rickie.. i might try him with getz as the backup but idk if i want to sacrifice the defense. having a 1 at SS and 2 at CF helps i guess..

BTW.. In the same league, Jeter has been tearing the cover off the ball for another team, with a near 1.000 OPS. I'm pretty surprised by it, as his average is at .380 and his OBP is at .470. Is anyone else having this kind of success with DJ?

Well...

My team looks different now after a big trade i made. Not sure if it was a good one, but i was getting fed up by adam jones. My division is tight, and I needed to make a deal to try and get ahead of the pack.
New lineup vs. LHP:
1. Tulo (SS)
2. Justin Upton (RF)
3. Matt Holliday (LF)
4. Josh Hamilton (CF)
5. Brett Lawrie (3B)
6. Alex Avila (C)
7. Scott Hairston (DH)
8. Johnny Peralta (1B)
9. Darwin Barney (2B)

New lineup vs. RHP:
1. Lawrie
2. Avila
3. Holliday
4. Upton
5. Hamilton
6. Tulo
7. Peralta
8. Hairston
9. Barney

this looks good on paper, and hopefully tulo and peralta can start playing more at their level.
as for SP, i downgraded Garza to Felix

I also added Campana for Domonic Brown. Campana is a good defender and will provide speed when Hamilton goes down.

Felix with a shutout in his first game with me! I love it lol... Before that he had like a 7.00 ERA

His former Manager was likely getting under his skin. Needed a change of scenery. :)

This team is out to a 83-61 record. It has really been good all around, including surprising pitching splits. It'll be interesting to see how this team holds up in the playoffs (assuming nothing drastic happens knocking us out of a playoff spot)
