What happened to Nelson Cruz?

What happened to Nelson Cruz?

He had 115 AB's, was listed as having a "2" range before the cards came out, and played more than two players on Texas whose cards are in the game???

His card was too good, with no injury to balance it out.
as was

Chris Dickerson of CIN
Michael Hoffpauir of CHI
O. Salazar of BAL
R Santiago of DET(and Head scratcher given Furcal is in because he does have an injury)
Ryan Shealy of KC
T Teagarden of TEX (You say he only has 47 ab's yet Luis Valbuena of SEA only has 49 and he made the cut as Did M Antonelli of SD with 51, but even I'll admit you HAVE to exclude this card, hell it would be 25 mil anyway)
R Abercrombie of HOU
M Rivera of MIL
N Schierholtz of SF

I'm still suprised TSN elected to include Furcal, and I'm more suprised Furcal isn't an Injury 6, but that's Strat's fault not TSN's.

I wish the TSN would just use all the cards included in the regular game and price them accordingly. I do not understand why they seemingly arbitrarily exclude some cards and not others. C'mon bernie, just one year can we get them all no matter what??? Please???

Okay too good, with to few ab's or to little of the season played, plus no injury, sorry.

There are thousands here who follow the inner workings of the game more than I (foggy, glenn, yes you two, among others) but I always thought if they were given a fielding range in the winter they'd be in the game in the spring.

Too bad. I'd drafted Cruz in a pre-card draft (and as a FA pickup in Roto) and he would have been AWESOME.

They do get a card in the board game, but TSN has always excluded what they felt were "exceptional cards". It happens every year. Some guys have even been excluded with more than 200 ab's.

As I said before I really wish thy'd just include everyone in the board game's set, and price accordingly. Maybe if enough of us macke noise this year, they'll finally do it.

I think Bernie actually came up with some rules on the criterion for eligibility, but I don't know if he's posted it or even will post it.

Yep, I'm still fuming over both D. Murphy and J. Elsbury not receiving TSN cards last year after what I see they put out this year, and what they put out back in the 06 set. CONSISTANCY please!!!!

I think everyone has a legitimate gripe, however,.. cut Bernie some slack,..you can not please all of the people, all of the time.

I am sure they try to do their best. The CD-ROM has every player available ,...but there are advantages to playing here at TSN that the CD-ROM could never duplicate. For instance;....the competition of GM/Managers, and the camaraderie.
