Lilly went in waivers. dumped Osawalt for Willis and added Kolb as the closer. What a shame to be stuck with Ford for LF. So not sure of lineups but the starting 9 look like

c AJ with Blanco for def
1b Pena with Mien... for def
2b Kennedy with Reese for def
SSclayton
3b Lowell
LF Ford
CF Chavez
RF Wilkerson
DH Young/Griffey

Still have $1.13 millon to play with.

just added Halama as a FA, wanted a lefty swingman in case Willis goes down. So cash left is 70k. Since noone had Wrigley just dumped Mitre so have $570,000 to work with.

So, did I make the right moves or did I make wrong moves?

is graves available? Here is what he is doing for me in another league in Petco (with the majority hitters parks I might add). Was at record level for era and whip till he gave up 1 run last night, quite amazing.

Nope Graves is gone. And how do I make the quote box when I copy and paste someone else said or asked? Team starts Monday. Haven't crunched the points yet to determine batting order. Other than Chavez most likely hitting 9 both ways. I have some guys who can steal with Young, Kennedy, Wilkerson, Chavez, and Clayton, and some bunters as well, Chavez is set to bunt more, not sure if I do the same with Kennedy and Clayton.

Keep the coments and suggestions coming everyone. I would love to win at least 1 '05 ring. :D

I hope Percival is a good investment for Petco. I had dropped him for Benitez but realized that is a lot of money when I already have Gordon who can eat up innings. So I dropped him, picked up Percival again and added Perez for another lefty pitcher.

Ya just knew those two top guys would take Bonds and Berkman eh? I wanted Berkman and had Lilly number two.

lineups

Postby Assmeriten » Wed Jan 04, 2006 4:27 am

Lineup vs. LHP
CHANGE THIS LINEUP
1. Young, Eric (R) DH
2. Kennedy, Adam (L) 2B
3. Clayton, Royce (R) SS
4. Lowell, Mike (R) 3B
5. Giambi, Jason (L) 1B
6. Ford, Lew (R) LF
7. Wilkerson, Brad (L) RF
8. Pierzynski, A.J. (L) C
9. Chavez, Endy (L) CF

In homerun parks I am thinking of using Blanco over A.J.

Lineup vs. RHP
CHANGE THIS LINEUP
1. Ford, Lew (R) LF
2. Kennedy, Adam (L) 2B
3. Lowell, Mike (R) 3B
4. Griffey Jr., Ken (L) DH
5. Pena, Carlos (L) 1B
6. Wilkerson, Brad (L) RF
7. Pierzynski, A.J. (L) C
8. Clayton, Royce (R) SS
9. Chavez, Endy (L) CF

Any lineup suggestions, any bullpen setting suggestions. I have Johnson, Santana, and Zambrano all set for slow hook.
