Just to clarify: my ratings assume that one-sided cards (such as Utley, Kata, W.Harris) will be used in a platoon...their prices would go down if these players were used everyday...furthermore, my ratings assume that a bench player worth around 0,60M will play when the player is injured.

I don't use any of TSN xL or xR as a criteria. What I use as a criteria is a replacement level player. To illustrate, for second-basemen, Macias represents a pretty good example of a replacement level player at second base. A player who has one side of the card below Macias would be by default considered as being used in a platoon mode with Macias...


Hairston Jr should be valued at 3.36M, for a differential of -0.16.
