Looking for opinions on CF options in Wrigley

Looking for opinions on CF options in Wrigley

Postby IM Bacchus » Sun Sep 04, 2005 7:19 am

Mohr,Rivera,Finley,Hunter, Byrnes or Bradley are the options.
Playing in Wrigley. The 1-7 spots in the line-up are tied down against both sides. Current line-up has 6 RHB and 2 LHB with this spot open.
There is a Coors and another Wrigley in the division.
I'm inclined to go with defense and occasional pop with Hunter, but I've not heard too many good things about his 05 card. Finley seems to be about the same, but a lefty. I haven't played a three in CF since I stopped playing with matches. Thoughts and opinions greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Cameron is also a good fit, if he's there.

He'll get you 30-40 HR's, with good D.

My current line-up goes like this:

Kendall- C
Carroll- 2B
Casey- 1B
Vlad G- RF
Cabrera- LF
Newhan- DH
Lowell- 3B
Rentaria- SS
Somebody in CF

I'm weighing the value of defense vs offense here on this one. A 1 or a 2 in CF with a minus arm is most desirable. I'm also considering my line-up balance between rhb and lhb. I typically like my line-ups to be more balanced than this one is developing into at the moment.

you dont necessarily
need a minus arm in cf since you already have vlad... people will run conservative...
